A $150M industrial services firm filed for voluntary protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Code. We directed the entire employee communications effort, worked through exit-financing due-diligence issues regarding human resources (benefits, worker's comp, etc.) and commercial insurances. We authored the approved Key Employee Retention Plan (KERP) to ensure that key employees necessary for success remained on board. The firm exited Chapter 11 via purchase by a strategic investor.

This leading commercial construction company was experiencing annual growth approaching 20%. A good "problem" to have, if you can manage the challenges. We determined the way to maintain a scalable solution to their people issues was to outsource their total human resources effort. Though growing rapidly, we helped them create and maintain best-in-class recruitment, staffing, employee relations, and management development initiatives. The senior leadership focuses on continued growth of the overall business, while we provide the support, resources, and results necessary to facilitate that growth. |

Industry-leading manufacturer had inadequately trained management, poor cross-functional communications, and severe "change inertia." We designed and led an intense management development effort, including application-oriented communication techniques, facilitated a 2-day skills workshop, and created interim formal structures for plant managers to share 'best-practice' ideas and information. Result - effective implementation of new, reduced labor process and incredibly strong culture assimilation during a subsequent acquisition. |
