This effort, though on its face successful, led to challenges in compensation. In Q1, this large construction company was noticing reduced year-over-year returns. In analysis, we realized that divisional executive focus and skills could use a boost. We were hired by a private equity firm in due diligence for a $750,000,000 acquisition. We provided intensive organizational design, scoping and identifying proper functional relationships for the acquired firm and authored and implemented key employee retention plans to maintain executive and manager continuity throughout the course of this significant acquisition.
